Every time Manuel returns from Uganda, it’s a challenge for him to process the differences between these two worlds, for every time he’s in Uganda his encounters with locals and the life he sees around him shape his perspectives and leave a lasting impression on him. What he’s left with each time he returns home is a deep desire to do more for these deserving youth.
Currently, Tugende Together supports 20 young people to attend school. Two of them are enrolled in university, which he believes is a great success! At the beginning he was able to pay for the expenses by himself along with help of family and friends. But his aim is to assist as many children as possible, which is why he is reaching out for funds in Austria.
We ask for your support of our organisation to enable these children and youth to stay in attend and for those whose schooling has been interrupted, to return to school!
